Prologue: Mens_Machina

Often times when we are going about life, whether it be pulling constant all nighters studying for upcoming exams, taking extra shifts at work to pay off our necessary expenses, or even going through ups and downs keeping up with our social lives, we can’t help but feel drained and completely detached from the world, both physically and mentally. We feel like a working machine that has multiple tasks operating all at once but doesn’t have the capacity for it. We feel as if we shouldn’t be doing so much at a time but also feel a need to be doing the most at a time. Yet, we all have our limits. We hit a point of exhaustion and are in dire need of some rest. Our internal machines overheat, and we hit what is called a burnout phase.
